It's been a while
Hey everyone, I'm sorry I haven't posted in a good while and not been at class. Life kinda decided to throw things my way and got off balance and track with things and have been trying to get caught back on up. I hope to see everyone this Saturday to take the last exam and hope everyone there passes with flying colors. Best wishes to everyone.

Thanksgiving
I know it is a little late and all but I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving with their friends and family. I am sorry that I wasn't in class last week, had a family emergency in taking my grandfather to the hospital after he fell and hit his head, resulting in him getting 17 stitches alongside his face. At the time I was the only one home with him since my mother was out shopping and my father was out working. Thankfully he's going to get the stitches out soon and is recovering steadily, least the fall wasn't any worse than it could have been.

A Good Feeling
When it showed that I had passed the exam, I felt relieved since I studied harder than I did the first time and got a better score. With two exams down and one to go, it'll be as passable as the other two. Now to look forward towards the future and make sure I get a date set-up to take the test early cause I don't want to risk taking it the first time on the last day and failing.

Preparation for the Second Exam
With the second exam slowly but surely approaching, have taken into account on what I am needing to study for and what to improve on to make sure I have a good handle of it. I did pretty well on the last exam, but I am wanting to do better on this exam and better on the next exam. If I don't pass the exam on Saturday, then I can just retake it.
Best of luck to everyone else who is taking the exam on Saturday and hope you all will pass it.

Halloween: Call of Cthulhu
I know this is a bit late and all but Halloween was quite enjoyable with a group of friends. Other than playing Mario Party Halloween edition and oh I knew the amount of salt that game can bring is high.
But to the main event of the night, me and a group of buddies decided to play Call of Cthulhu which is an investigating type of Tabletop RPG (Roleplaying Game) based around H.P. Lovecraft's universe. As we began in a town in New Hampshire, set in the 1920s, my two friends were a Priest and a Wrestler while I was a Bounty Hunter, we were investigating the disappearance of people in the town. Talking to the main suspect known as Adam, not learning much before doing some more research in the town about cement trucks that led to the suspect's place. Returning at night-fall, we began to snoop around his home, realizing he isn't there and soon finding Cult books that involved summoning one of the Old Ones known as Hastur, which is a literal god that can destroy the world. We went down a path that led to seven pillars in a 'V' formation with five of the seven pillars covered in blood. Soon Adamn appeared upon one of the spawns of Hastur and he had summoned Ghouls to attack us, we shot up the Ghouls with our guns while Adam started to come at us. Learning that Adam had a second personality that he got from one of the cult books, he shot him to pieces before beginning to burn the body. As the body began to burn, worms started to pour out of him and wrap around him to protect him from the fire, before he would teleport behind my character and try to kill him. Now I had a chance to break free from his grasp, so my friend running this whole thing did a roll off against me, he got a 98 and the highest I could roll was a 100 since this dude had Super Strength where I was just a human, so roughly a 2% chance of winning. And by the luck of the roll, I got a 99 and was able to get away. Soon his body would crumble before his blackened bones were carried away by more Ghouls and the spawns of Hastur would die. We had prevented the summoning of Hastur and all three of our characters went their separate ways after everything was done.
Overall that was a really fun game to play and had a fun time to spend it with some good friends.

Chaos
For the past few days things have been hectic as all hell really. Making sure to keep up with classes, work, and various other things that be needing done for the Sins of the Prophets Mod I am playtesting. But I am getting to these things little by little, day by day. Making sure things are perfect and in order, not wanting quantity over quality.
But now that the week is nearing the end, I am getting everything caught up once more. And boy do I realize that the semester will be ending real soon, time does fly when being busy.

Sins of the Prophets
When making the Presentation, it was quite a challenge but it was fun in the end since it was on something that I cared about deeply. Sins of the Prophets has been an excellent project that is run by amazing people for past five to six years years. Being able to playtest such a project that is about a lore (story/history) that intrigues me.
Even if the mod is still under development, I hope to continue to contribute to the project in its entirety and to see it flourish when it is fully complete.

Renaissance Faire
Knowing that this post is coming a bit late at night and all, but it was a good time to post anyways. Having a bad case of food poisoning earlier in the week was terrible. but since Thursday was starting to feel a bit better before Friday.
Now once Friday hit, it was gonna be a good day for me. Going to the Renaissance Faire that happens every year at Sunset Park with a group of friends, and oh was it as enjoyable as it always is every year. Watching people do various shows to just full on contact fighting in armor, and seeing all the various vendors and the items they were selling. All in all it was a pretty damn good day to spend with friends.

Revisiting Old Files
It has been over a year since I had touched my Resume and Cover Letter and they were in a rough shape. Course with Mr. Wu's examples of a Cover Letter and Resume, it did help refine what I had previously. Thankfully it didn't take long to write out the information that was needed in my Resume to make it more current, granted a lot has changed over the year I last touched it. Now to see what lies ahead for this next coming week.
And course with revisiting things, decided to give the blog a newer look that I liked more.

Celebration
After what felt like the world had stopped, I had passed the first exam. After spending hours looking at notes and doing my best to memorize what information I needed, it had all paid off in the end for this exam. Hopefully everyone else did well on the exam, and if not then don't give up and give it another shot.

Preparation for the Exam
Having completed all of the assignments that were due the following Friday in class on Saturday, I began to study once the given materials to study/prepare from were up. I am confident that I will be able to pass this first exam, and if I don't then nothing to hard to worry about. Reason there is a second chance after all to take the exam once more.

Week 2
It
is interesting going through all the lessons that have been laid out, reviewing
topics that I have a solid footing on and learning things that I didn’t fully
understand or didn’t even know were a thing. The online material is already
expanding the portion of knowledge I already have, and I am thankful to be able
to learn such usable information. I am hoping to keep working hard and
expanding, learning what I can so I can use it in the outside world.

IS 101 Day 1
When coming into IS 101, it was to say interesting at the very least. Seeing who was all there and meeting the Professor for the first time was refreshing, even if it is a Saturday class. I am hoping to learn as much as I can from my Professor in IS 101 to expand my current knowledge of computers and the Internet.
