Thanksgiving

I know it is a little late and all but I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving with their friends and family. I am sorry that I wasn't in class last week, had a family emergency in taking my grandfather to the hospital after he fell and hit his head, resulting in him getting 17 stitches alongside his face. At the time I was the only one home with him since my mother was out shopping and my father was out working. Thankfully he's going to get the stitches out soon and is recovering steadily, least the fall wasn't any worse than it could have been.

A Good Feeling

When it showed that I had passed the exam, I felt relieved since I studied harder than I did the first time and got a better score. With two exams down and one to go, it'll be as passable as the other two. Now to look forward towards the future and make sure I get a date set-up to take the test early cause I don't want to risk taking it the first time on the last day and failing.

Preparation for the Second Exam

With the second exam slowly but surely approaching, have taken into account on what I am needing to study for and what to improve on to make sure I have a good handle of it. I did pretty well on the last exam, but I am wanting to do better on this exam and better on the next exam. If I don't pass the exam on Saturday, then I can just retake it.

Best of luck to everyone else who is taking the exam on Saturday and hope you all will pass it.

Halloween: Call of Cthulhu

I know this is a bit late and all but Halloween was quite enjoyable with a group of friends. Other than playing Mario Party Halloween edition and oh I knew the amount of salt that game can bring is high.

But to the main event of the night, me and a group of buddies decided to play Call of Cthulhu which is an investigating type of Tabletop RPG (Roleplaying Game) based around H.P. Lovecraft's universe. As we began in a town in New Hampshire, set in the 1920s, my two friends were a Priest and a Wrestler while I was a Bounty Hunter, we were investigating the disappearance of people in the town. Talking to the main suspect known as Adam, not learning much before doing some more research in the town about cement trucks that led to the suspect's place. Returning at night-fall, we began to snoop around his home, realizing he isn't there and soon finding Cult books that involved summoning one of the Old Ones known as Hastur, which is a literal god that can destroy the world. We went down a path that led to seven pillars in a 'V' formation with five of the seven pillars covered in blood. Soon Adamn appeared upon one of the spawns of Hastur and he had summoned Ghouls to attack us, we shot up the Ghouls with our guns while Adam started to come at us. Learning that Adam had a second personality that he got from one of the cult books, he shot him to pieces before beginning to burn the body. As the body began to burn, worms started to pour out of him and wrap around him to protect him from the fire, before he would teleport behind my character and try to kill him. Now I had a chance to break free from his grasp, so my friend running this whole thing did a roll off against me, he got a 98 and the highest I could roll was a 100 since this dude had Super Strength where I was just a human, so roughly a 2% chance of winning. And by the luck of the roll, I got a 99 and was able to get away. Soon his body would crumble before his blackened bones were carried away by more Ghouls and the spawns of Hastur would die. We had prevented the summoning of Hastur and all three of our characters went their separate ways after everything was done.

Overall that was a really fun game to play and had a fun time to spend it with some good friends.
